DELETE THIS PAGE Men’s Behaviour Change
Mana Tāhuna have been selected to partner with Ministry of Social Development’s - Te Huringa Ō Te Ao – Supporting men’s behaviour change. This service will create systemic and intergenerational change for whānau in our hāpori - Queenstown – Lakes and Central Otago!

What will we do?
Focus on supporting men's sustainable behavior change to benefit families and communities.
Emphasis on community-led service development underpinned by whānau voice.
Framework includes seven evidence-based focus areas for driving positive outcomes.
Principles emphasise cultural responsiveness, safety, collaboration, and ongoing improvement.
We aim to break cycles of violence and create intergenerational change.
What will it look like?
We have deep organic networks throughout our region and various communities. We will work alongside the ministry and these communities to design a programme that suits our many cultures, needs, communities and whānau. As a kaupapa Māori organisation, our programme will be rooted in tikanga Māori but be open to men and whānau from all walks of life.
This programme signifies the transformative potential and the aspiration for sustainable change.
